The Chapel

A large area of missing shingles exposed the ceiling of the foyer chapel. The floor was soaked. The pews and carpet were removed.
It was sad for many of us to see the chapel in this condition today. The kids were a little confused. It is where they come for chapel once a week in the preschool.
I heard one of the volunteers/members say how sad he was because it has been a special place for him to come each week and pray after getting off work when no one is there yet on Sunday mornings.
All of the pews were removed and drying out in the Sanctuary hallway.
